🔒 Core Commitment: Snoozy is built with a privacy-by-design architecture. All sound synthesis, timers, and volume preferences run 100% locally on your device. We do not track, collect, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII).

1. Information Collection & Processing

Snoozy does NOT require user registration, login credentials, contact lists, location tracking, or microphone access. Specifically:

Zero Personal Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or hardware identifiers.
Local Sound Processing: All white noise, procedural audio algorithms, and nature sound layers are synthesized locally on the device's CPU/DSP. No audio data is ever transmitted to remote servers.
Local Storage: Sound mixing presets, volume levels, timer settings, and language preferences are stored exclusively on your device using Android encrypted SharedPreferences.

2. Android Permissions Justification

Snoozy requests only the minimum necessary permissions required for reliable background sleep playback:

FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK: Required by Android to continue playing audio and processing the sleep timer when the screen is turned off or while using other apps.
WAKE_LOCK: Ensures smooth audio buffer streaming and guarantees the 30-second exponential timer fadeout executes reliably without system freeze.
INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used solely by Google AdMob SDK for serving banner advertisements.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Allows the app to display playback status and timer remaining countdown in the Android system notification shade.

3. Advertising & Anti-Disturbance Rules

Snoozy utilizes Google AdMob to offer free access. To maintain a tranquil sleep environment, our advertising implementation adheres to strict anti-disturbance principles:

All banner ads are strictly configured with forced audio mute.
Ad placements do not cover playback controls or trigger accidental clicks.
Users who upgrade to PRO enjoy a 100% ad-free experience.

4. Solana Mobile / Device Ecosystem

The Solana Edition of Snoozy is distributed via the Solana dApp Store. Please note that Snoozy does NOT connect to cryptocurrency wallets, does not request private keys, and does not conduct blockchain transactions. It is a standalone audio application optimized for the Solana Seeker device ecosystem.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Snoozy does not target children under the age of 13 and does not collect any personal data from children or adults alike.
