Terms of Use

(Traditional Chinese)

(Hearing Safety Advisory)

(Volana Tips)

English Version

Welcome to FineVolume ("the Application"). By installing, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

1. Scope of Service

FineVolume is provided as a 100% free, ad-free Android system utility designed to provide granular micro-level audio attenuation and gain amplification. You are granted a personal, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Application.

2. Hearing Safety & Proper Usage Disclaimer

The Application includes a dual boost engine capable of amplifying audio up to +30 dB beyond default system maximums. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Safe Volume Habits: Prolonged exposure to high audio volumes can cause permanent hearing damage. You are solely responsible for adjusting audio to safe, comfortable listening levels.
• Hardware Protection: Pushing audio gain beyond standard limits on certain low-wattage speaker drivers may cause acoustic distortion. Adjust gain gradually.
• Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any damages resulting from high-volume playback or device misuse.

3. Local Processing & Privacy

All digital signal processing (DSP) operations are performed locally in device memory using native Android APIs. The Application does not record or transmit any audio content. Please review our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Voluntary Solana Tipping

The optional tip jar integrates the Solana Mobile Wallet Adapter (MWA) for peer-to-peer developer appreciation (SOL, USDC, SKR):

• Tipping is completely voluntary and does not gate or lock any features.
• Blockchain transactions are final, non-custodial, and non-refundable. Private keys are never handled by the Application.
